The Quest for Colour

painting by Jill Rogers

I’ve emerged from the black womb of no-thing

Sharing experiences is what I bring…

I take on no one’s baggage, I’ve released so much of my own,

Purging what I no longer need, defining me, as I hone.

I too have darkness, I allow my light to shine through,

My luminosity intensifying growing more than I ever knew.

I live a simple life, no distractions, drama or greed,

Everything is within me, I have all I ever need.

I’m created by this Divine Light, the Source of many names,

I radiate every day and night, we are different yet the same.

As each of us awakens, to who we really are,

Our colours ever changing, just like a twinkling star.

I love nature, all of it, from the cosmos back to Earth,

Animals, plants, trees, everything that’s been birthed.

I shine my light so very bright, for the whole world to see,

I shine my light so very bright, I live in peace and harmony.

I send out light, I send out love, I send out happiness too,

I send out this bright, bright light may it comfort you.

I am at peace, I am balanced, I live in Harmony,

Connected to all of life, to The ONE great Family.

We are unified in our diversities, a bigger picture we cannot see,

We are many different colours, do you know which one is me?
