‘Room’ for women

Ricebowl and pencils

A female-only magazine that accepts submissions is Room. Room is definitely ‘of today’ – “….publishes original work by women, including trans* persons, gender-variant and two-spirit women, and women of non-binary sexual orientations.”

The next issue will be about food:- “Editors Kayi Wong and Rose Morris are looking for poetry, fiction, creative non-fiction, and art that explores food in all its glory and complexity for Room issue 40.1, which will also feature work by Marilyn Dumont. Deadline to submit is July 31.
